Sam joined Jefferson Veterinary Hospital in October 2015. She is a graduate of Middletown High School and is currently enrolled in Penn Foster College, where she is working toward her veterinary technician license. She lives on a farm in Middletown, MD where she continues to fuel her passion for animals. She also pets sits and walks dogs in her free time and is very excited about her future working with animals
Valerie has been a veterinary assistant at Jefferson Veterinary Hospital since March 2012. She graduated from Frederick Community College's Veterinary Assistant Training program and has worked in a variety of animal care facilities, including a 24-hour emergency and referral hospital. Valerie has two german shepherds Gunny and Jayda and is also the proud owner of a cat named Jesse and five horses.
Chris was born and raised Brunswick, MD. He lived in Jefferson MD for a few years during breaks from college at California University of Pennsylvania. He has a degree in Earth Science, with a concentration in Broadcast Meteorology and holds the American Meteorological Society TV Seal Of Approval. Chris' previously worked as both a television and radio Meteorologist, which took him from Fort Myers, Florida to Southern Maryland. After nearly 10 years in this field, Chris made the difficult decision to leave television and radio behind and peruse a different career. He moved back home to Brunswick, MD and began a new career in the veterinary field. In his spare time Chris enjoys playing sports and spending time with his family and friends. Chris and his wife Mandy have two cats named Thunder and Storm. Chris loves all animals and treats every pet that walks into Jefferson Veterinary Hospital as if they are his own.
Catlin is a native of Frederick MD and attended high school at Frederick Christian Academy and Frederick Community College, where she obtained an Associate degrees in Art and General Studies.
At Jefferson Veterinary Hospital and Brunswick Animal Clinic, Catlin loves learning about each new patient visiting the practice. She loves the career in the veterinary field and plans to study to become a veterinary technician.
When she is not working at the veterinary hospital, her hobbies include photography, soccer and riding ATVs. Catlin has two Jack Russells, Lucy and Shaggy and one cat, Sasha.
Gabrielle is from Jefferson, MD, where she used to help out on her grandparents dairy farm. She has been around animals her entire life and participated in 4-H for many years. She is currently a Junior at Brunswick High School. In her spare time she likes to hang out with her friends and spend time with her family. She loves working with all the animals that come through the office.
