Veterinary CT Scanner

A Veterinary CT Scanner designed for cats and dogs

We understand that your time is valuable, and Jefferson Veterinary Hospital is committed to providing your pet with the highest quality, most efficient care possible. One way our veterinarians do this is by making sure we have the most advanced diagnostic technology available to expedite your pet’s diagnosis and treatment.

The state of the art veterinary CT scanner at Jefferson Veterinary Hospital provides you with in house advanced diagnostics and cuts out the need for you to have to take your pet to an imaging center or specialist veterinary hospital, making things easier and more efficient for you.

With CT onsite in your veterinary hospital, we can identify the extent of any abnormalities, down to the smallest body and soft tissue structures, as well as hairline fractures in complex joint structures and with, or without contrast agent. In some cases, we can perform surgical interventions, minimizing the time your pet spends under anesthesia.

We are doing in house CT for our clients and accepting referral cases from other veterinary hospitals. A full radiology report is provided to referring veterinarians within 24 hours. We hope you will find our CT scans both helpful and affordable.

I am excited to have the veterinary CT scanner as part of my diagnostic tools at Jefferson Veterinary Hospital to provide more accurate information to guide our treatment plans. I am especially excited to use the CT scanner in the area of oncology to better stage our patients and prepare our plan for any surgical interventions that may be required. It will also allow us to monitor our oncology patients during and after chemotherapy and surgery. The veterinary CT will provide our clients with more information and help provide them with a better understanding of their pet’s medical condition.
— Dr. Brooks Ahalt, veterinarian

The veterinary CT scanner creates three-dimensional X-ray images of your pet’s anatomy, giving your veterinarians valuable information for an accurate diagnosis. We are able to view and share the image results immediately and our CT system enables better surgical planning, minimizing surgery time, and even recovery time, for your pet.

The veterinary CT imaging streamlines our clinical workflow, allows us to see in depth information about your pet, saves you valuable time, and improves treatment outcomes for your pet.

Ask our veterinarians and staff about our CT scanner during your next visit.
